Crank Brothers Cobalt Wheelset uses their latest innovative design, producing light wheels, perfect for cross country and race performance.  In a choice of Black/Gold, Blue and Champagne, the Cobalt Wheelset looks as good as it rolls.

With their unique design, Crank Brothers have eliminated the need to drill any holes in the rim, replacing them instead with a unique extruded internal/external radial centre rib.  This makes the rim a lot stronger and easily adaptable to tubeless tyres.

The Crank Brothers Cobalt wheelsets incorporate their spokes to be attached to this central rib section in matched pairs for more even distribution to the spokes.  Wheel trueing can easily be done with a standard spoke key.

The aluminium freehub body on the rear hub features 6 pawls in two sets of 3 engaging 48 times every wheel revolution to ensure near instantaneous pickup. The hubs also feature oversize cartridge bearings on an ovesized axle for strength with light weight.
