New colours for the Garmin Edge 500
Wednesday, March 17th, 2010Garmin have announced new limited-edition color schemes for the Edge 500 GPS cycling computer.
The argyle designs is inspired by the recognisable orange and blue pattern as seen on the Team Garmin-Transitions professional cycling team’s kit. There is also a ‘neutral’ black and white edition, which will please people who worry about colour co-ordination on their bikes!
"Fashion, function and fun intertwine with these argyle designs, perfect for a lighthearted road trip or a hardcore road race," said Dan Bartel, Garmin's vice president of worldwide sales. "Team Garmin has used Edge technology to win professional races around the world, and these new models help us spread the spirit of the Argyle Armada to even more handlebars and dashboards."
The argyle Edge 500 and neutral Edge 500 will be launched at the Tour of California, which starts on May 16-23 2010.
ESI ‘Racers Edge’ and ‘Chunky’ Grips now in stock
Thursday, March 11th, 2010We are now stocking the excellent ESI Grips, in both ‘Racers Edge‘ and ‘Chunky‘ forms.
Made from silicone, these bike grips are very lightweight, grippy, comfortable, don’t absort water (unlike foam grips), don’t twist and are weather-proof.
They are also available in different colours: black, green, blue, red and white (for the show-offs!).
Sound pretty good eh?
Oh yes, and they don’t cost the earth either!
