The Garmin Edge 305, a GPS-enabled cycle computer in the Edge Series will help you achieve your goals and monitor your performance with accuracy.  Essentially the Edge 305 is the baby brother to the Edge 605 and the Edge 705.

Attaching easily to the stem or handlebars of your bike with the included bike mount, simply turn it on, acquire GPS satellites and go. The Edge 305 automatically measures your speed, distance, time, calories burned, altitude, climb and descent, and records this data for your review.The Edge 305 also incorporates a barometric altimeter to accurately pinpoint changes in elevation.

The Garmin Edge 305 features:

• Easy to install with no calibration required. Simply attach it with the included mount and go..

• The high-sensitivity GPS receiver tracks your position even in tree cover and canyons, making it extremely reliable for distance and speed information.

• Virtual Partner® lets you race a virtual competitor over a specified distance and speed.

• The courses function lets you race against a previously recorded workout, so you can compare performances over the same ride.

• Auto Pause® pauses the timer when you slow down or stop and resumes when you speed up again, so you can focus on your ride.

• With Edge 305 you can configure Auto Lap® to automatically start a new lap each time you pass a specified location or travel a preset distance.

• Measure Your Heart Rate and Cadence Edge 305 comes packaged with a heart rate monitor or speed/cadence sensor, both of which are available seperately. These wireless sensors use ANT+™ technology to send valuable workout data to the Edge.

• Edge 305 + heart rate monitor. Measure your heart rate statistics, such as current and average heart rate.  ANT+™ technology ensures you get no interference from other heart rate monitors.

• Edge 305 + cadence.  Montior your Cadence with accuracy You can even use it to train indoors because the sensor attaches to your rear wheel. 

Track Your Progress

A massive benefit of the Garmin Edge 305 is that you can plan, analyze and store data from your workouts through Garmin Connect™, Garmin Training Center® or other fitness software. When you arrive home, you can conveniently upload your data to your PC for an in-depth analysis of your workouts, including speed, cadence, elevation and heart rates. With the added online mapping and route sharing that will take your training to the next level.
