Last week the team were at the Eventrex Off Road Duathlon in Crow where Jon Clemas took the overall win for the team.

Jon Clemas, Andrew Smith, Simon Lesser and Andy Whiteford were all out on Sunday in Crow at the Eventrex off road duathlon. It was a warm damp start to the race with plenty of mud and boggy patches to keep competitors on their toes. The run was all off road with plenty of tree roots and bog to tackle and Jon soon moved in to 2nd place on the first run, taking the lead just before transition. Jon held the lead on the three lap bike course to be first out on the run and it was a quick 1.5 mile run to finish. Jon took the overall win despite it being his first multi sport race in about 6 years. We hope you've got more planned this season, Jon! Well done to Andrew, Simon and Andy who all had strong performances on the day as well.

James Meakin was also in action on the track at the British University Championships (BUCS) track event. BUCS are national events that attract top racers currently at uni, representing their respective universities. James had a great event in a tough field with 9th in the elimination race and 17th in the flying 200.

Finally Marc McHale is still going strong on his ride from Adelaide to Sydney. Despite some very windy days and cooler than expected temperatures, Marc is still pedalling strong and on track with his mileage. Keep it up Marc!
